 | Hi guys! Over the span of the last 5-6 years, I've tried multiple times to get into the game. My friends weere always telling me to come play with them to do dungeons and raids and what not. And of course being a sprout, I had a lot to learn, and my friends were telling (tried telling) me what to do, but It was a lot, and It felt very overwhelming. I was exploring picking up quest and they'd tell me, dont do those, do the MSQ, read everything, and tell us when you're there and there. I wanted to fish, I was told it was worthless at the point I was in the story. So I ultimately ended up quitting. The story repeated itself more times than I can count. Last year I wanted to try again, and I made a new character. In my RPG games, I usually always make the same character a big guy warrior with a viking name, I've always seen it as alternate version of the same character. So this time, I made him a lalafel. So he's still a very proud warrior but he's also a lil snarky and loves to laugh at everything. And thats where it clicked, when I can do what ever I want, take my time, interact with other people and play at my own pace, thats where the fun is. I sometime spend 20-30 minutes, just talking to people telling them (lies) about the travels I went trough, and the hardships of the life of my character because its fun ? I've also, watched the entire MSQ (up to where i was so, the end of HW) to get a better understanding of what the hell was going on.
