I think the graphic update really makes some cutscenes more stunning with both models of character getting upgraded and the lighting, the one I made the comparison for is from like post EW (maybe 6.4 or 6.5) for the above pics while below is during DT
It's already heartbreaking in my first playthrough but seeing this cutscene with a graphic update really enhanced the feeling
