I have been playing since the game released, and I have been a mix of casual and not-quite-hardcore. I have done most extremes when they were current, and did savage in SB and EW. However, one thing I've noticed is for many, when they become savage raiders they stop playing the game with people outside of their static. Everything they do seems to be static oriented.
For many of these epeople, the statics are comprised of people outside of their FC. That means if an FC needs people to do weekly events, like treasure maps, extreme mount farms, blue mage skill unlock parties, etc, the once-active members stop showing up because they are spending their time raiding savage or gearing savage. It's as though the effort required kills their interest to play the other 95% of the game (made up percentage bilut you yet the idea).
Have others experienced this, or am I just having bad luck with FCs? I have no problem people doing what they enjoy, its just rough that it feels as though when someone starts doing savage they kind drift away.
