Hi all!
I am new to ffxiv and I want to begin this post with the fact that english isn't my first language, and I am not the most tech savy person, I have tried to find a solution online but I couldn't find it, hence why I come to this subreddit.
I was wondering if it was possible to use frame gen within ffxiv.
My PC specs are the following:
RTX 5070
i7-12700k
32gb ddr4
I am running ffxiv on 5140 x 1440 with mostly all high settings. I am getting around 60-70 fps in the Central Shroud.
Things I have done to make it look better already:
- in the NVIDIA app I overwrote the DLSS preset to preset K.
- I set DLSS to DLAA
- in FFXIV I selected DLSS and selected under 30 fps.
I know 60-70fps is indeed decent enough, but I am worrying that this will only go lower once I go into more busy places and later content.
Even if framegen is not possible all is still well
I enjoy the game already, I was just wondering if there would be a solution!
