 | When you recruit a character in FFR, you get to see a montage of footage from their game of origin during the process. For XIV's rep Y'shtola, it shows a lot of scenes from 2.0-4.x stuff, but a really surprising point of note is the few scenes they include that involve the player character show this Lalafell in a DT fending set. Feels weird to see a promotional-style footage for FFXIV from official Square Enix media not using the default approved Meteor but instead seemingly one of the developers characters using footage recorded for the game.
