Bro, I'm a full-grown adult with bills to pay, & I'm getting choked up over an MMO about dragons. I just defeated Nidhogg, & removed the eyes from Estinien's armor. Seeing Ysayle & Haurchefant appear to help, along with the music just about had me reaching for the tissues. This shit is so peak.
I enjoyed ARR when I was playing through it initially, but this expansion is on another level. I've been going through the game with my GF who's already completed everything, & she's just been watching for my reactions the entire time. Heavensward has been the first moment where I've genuinely been on the edge of my seat with almost every scene.
I was bummed out at the end of ARR when the Scions got separated, but the supporting cast of characters introduced here have become my favorite. I love how they've expanded on Tataru (if anything happens to her, I will throw my keyboard into the street) & how they're tying the remaining ARR plot threads up slowly over time. It all feels so cohesive. I absolutely cannot wait for Stormblood.
Anyway, I just had to come on here & share that. As a new player, I've been enjoying periodically giving you guys my updated thoughts/opinions! 10/10 would cry again.
