I wanted to talk about that to see if i'm the only one regretting the old times when the game adjusted to your gear when you tried to do some daily roulette.
I dont know since when (i forgot) but it changed : nowadays, when you don't put a gear adapted to your lvl, you are forbidden to participate in some dailies.
I know that rule was made to punish players : those changed their gears on purpose only to do low lvl roulette. And it's great to teach them that it's bad but.
I'm not one of them
Listen, i have a main (well, more like 2-3) and those are max lvl. One of my main have the right gear (the latest i could get with my money cause i'm not a crafter) and i never removed this equipment even on a roulette : even in the past when the rule was different. Eversince i play : When it's my main, i don't cheat with my dailies.
But, when you want to lvl up other jobs and you are like me : you just want to reach the highest lvl before dealing with your equipment :
Mainly because :
It takes a long time to get a good stuff, even with the currency for lower gear : when you have multiple jobs to stuff (jobs without the max lvl) : it's really long.
And if you want to pay other players : it's worse.
Just try to buy more than 10 differents stuff per lvl and you'll end up ruined.
Why bothers with different stuff for different jobs when theme stuff per types of jobs exists ?
Do you heard of glamour ?
I don't want my reaper to look like my dragoon because i used the same stuff just to get the max ilvl.
That's boring.
And yet, often, i end up like that : under geared because i'm too lazy to get the highest gequipment for my lvl80 monk or lvl 95 reaper.
But i promised you Square Enix, i will geared them and i won't cheat with the roulette.
When they'll be lvl 100.
I'm forbidden to do raids with those jobs.
And now, i can be propelled on some higher boss fight even though i don't have any stuff to put so i end up dying while being useless for my teamates (it happened today with Zoraal Ja's fight : i just had my ilvl 70 on me and nothing else in my inventory x) ) (i'll be honest : i didn't cheat : i just don't have any equipment for my lvl 99 Reaper : i don't bother with that cause lvl 100 is near)

For now, i'm being punished for my lazyness ;-;
I wonder if it'll be possible, one day, for the game to detect whether we have any suitable equipment in any of our inventories. Or to be able to detect our job equipment's history (to check if we cheated with our ilvl).
It'll be great for people like me ;-;
