I'm someone who always craved playing an MMO game. I wanted to play and meet new people to play with. I wanted to experience being in a guild and playing with friends or making new friends. I watched many videos about MMOs on YouTube, and none of them made me want to play any of them. To be fair, in the past, maybe before 2020, I tried B&S, and I didn't stick with it. As years passed, I kept hearing about WOW and FFXIV. I keep seeing people going back and forth between these two games and seeing a lot of debate about which one is better. Though I believe it all depends on you and which one you like and love. My desire to play an MMO has gotten to a point where I had to download WOW, GW2, and FFXIV. I would play all three of these games, switching between the three daily, just to see where I fit. I tried FFXIV and decided to give it a fair shot. To be honest, the reason for me to play the game is to get the Dark Knight class. It's something that caught my eye, and I wanted to play it so badly, but I never expected I would enjoy FFXIV ARR. I loved every second of it. I'm known among my friends for not finishing games or sticking with any game at all. I would switch to a new game every 3 or 5 days, but for some reason, I have been playing FFXIV for hours and hours, and with every blue quest I get, I immediately finish it to unlock a new feature or a dungeon, and it never bored me at all. I loved the story and everything about it. I immersed myself in the music and everything that the game has to offer. I even made some friends in the game. Some people complimented my glam and my name. I never expected such a nice community to exist in an MMO. Everyone was helpful and willing to help. These small things made me realize that I had wasted my time on other games, and I wish I had played this game at least during COVID. I just reached Ishgard (Heavensward), and I have been walking in the city with a big smile on my face. I don't know if I'm being emotional, but I guess everyone will understand and agree that this game is something else.
