Was just wandering around the Azim Steppes and Crystarium looking at all the wonderful furniture and I wish that a lot more were available for players to use, especially carpets!
If the limitation is having to create crafting recipes maybe regional vendors should unlock as you progress MSQ with the ability to buy items for gil, which would also be a good gil sink.
