My feedback, SE? Your housing system is so fucking abysmally awful that it's enough to get me to unsub for the first time since I subbed 5 years ago.
For those of you who don't know, even if you log in regularly, continue to pay your sub, regularly use your front yard, all the facilities you placed down yourself, if you don't USE THE FRONT FUCKING DOOR they'll just delete your house right out from under you!
They're also supposed to send warnings, apparently a 10 day and a 3 day warning, but if they don't it's just a "whoopsie, you still didn't use the front door, so fuck you!"
And everything inside? Everything you earned, farmed for, and purchased? Gone, no exceptions, nothing left, just a "partial" return of the money you put down on the house itself, absolutely everything else is sent to oblivion and they'll refuse to do anything about it, "cause that's just the way the system works!"
Well, my feedback is this system is total fucking, dogwater, ass, designed by incompetent buffoons who don't care about their paying players. So if you can't be bothered to show even the slightest amount of care then that's that for me, fuck this whole system.
Fix the housing, respect your players, and admit your fuck ups, then you might not lose as many players from such an avoidably stupid system ruining their enjoyment of the game.
Hell, maybe saying ANYWHERE at ANY POINT IN TIME after you purchase a home that you have to USE THE FRONT DOOR or have EVERYTHING YOU PUT INTO IT, being items, time, and care, just summarily deleted without warning cause you might just forget or something, would make this at least slightly understandable. But I had to google "WHY WAS MY HOUSE DELETED" and find out from the community you clearly don't care enough about that it's THE FRONT DOOR that matters, NOTHING ELSE, and the warnings you were supposed to send never reached me but even if they did an email warning for a system you never clarified in game much less didn't bother to send IN GAME WARNINGS ABOUT despite having an IN GAME MAIL SYSTEM already for use for this exact fucking thing isn't enough! Not with how hard you make it to get the houses in the first place, how some people feel like they have to stay subbed just to avoid everything being deleted, only for even that to not be enough and you'll punish players who were happy with it all after YOU FAILED to properly inform them of the system or warn them of the incoming punishments.
If there was a point in which these stupid rules to avoid having all of your work and effort deleted out from under you and I'm just not remembering, then the rest of that still applies, actually verifying you sent the emails for warning is the bare minimum, I know plenty of people who don't regularly check their emails enough AND issues like THIS where you just don't send them, it could be avoided if you sent the warnings in game, but you don't care enough to do so, clearly, so I'm done caring as well, bye FFXIV.
EDIT: I know they won't see this or do anything about it, just needed to vent.
