This has been talked about before, but the stalking problem is a real thing that I'm personally dealing with, and no amount of ignoring them/asking them to stop seems to get them to move on and stop joining the groups/free companies I'm in.
I know it's beyond SE's control to manage someone's completely deranged and unhinged behavior, but features like being able to change your online status to invisible/opting out of player search, the ability to opt out of displaying your free company tag so people can't see what groups you're in, and removing a friend should remove you from their list, should exist by now.
I hope with upcoming patches and expansions we'll see them pivot towards implementing features to get the creeps out of our lives so we can enjoy the game without worrying about some random creep ruining it for us.
