It was such an epic experience, going to overthrow the corrupt system with your friends (whom I can now do dungeons with). I was so excited! The Vault was beautiful with its haunting music and its eerie red light. The fights were very cool too and it felt good teaching a lesson to the scummy knights!
When the cutscene came, at first, I thought to myself "ha, they won't have me! It will be alright, just like with Nanamo!"
Then Alphinaud said the wound was too deep.
I was in complete disbelief for a good 10 minutes. I guess I was just waiting for a hint of hope? But then we were back at the manor and I had to accept that it really happened.
Since this morning I found myself crying again, I went here to see what the community had to say about this quest. I guess I'm glad to see that it's a beloved (yet very painful) rite of passage and that we're all in this together.
Anyway, I'm just a sad sprout who needed to get the pain off her chest, even a little bit!
