I absolutely LOVE Variant Dungeons, but I've never been here for one's release- is going solo or going with other(s) on release recommended?

Title, I tend to do my first clears of Variant Dungeons solo, very excited for the upcoming one and plan to marathon a couple of runs immediately(and reading lore entries of course). That being said with it being a NEW Variant Dungeon, there'll be a lot of figuring out the routes in real time, should I try to work with others for my first go or just go alone? How did the playerbase go about the EW Variant Dungeons when they were released for that matter, just stumped on which approach I should take lol
