Instead of going to other worlds/continents it revamped/enriched the existing ARR zones and added new ones?
For gameplay purposes we don't actually explore Eorzea in it's entirety, when we transition between zones we skip a lot of travel, I'm sure there are plenty of small villages that we never even hear of.
I think it would be nice to revisit the original zones and it's NPCs again, but I guess the biggest obstacle would be an actual in lore reason to do it, with the Grand Company of Eorzea around it would be hard to come up with a local threat without making them look incompetent.
