So, basically, I'm on the stretch between ARR and the next expansion, playing as Warrior, and unlocked the Crystal Tower raids, and so far I've felt like I was pretty decent at tanking for a newbie, only ever dying a few times where I was sloppy at pulling wall to wall, and having no problem with the hard mode trial rematches.
But upon getting into the "harder" of the lower level content I've come to the realization I'm really bad at party coordination. I struggle with game awareness, like failing to notice enemies targeting non-tank players and reacting fast to the more punishing boss mechanics(If the boss has any insta kill moves I will only learn to avoid it after dying the first time), something that didn't come up in the easier content.
I've qued as Summoner a little bit to learn the duty in a less important role, but it seems like there's little overlap between playstyles (besides the basic idea of using your skills in the most optimal order while minimizing innactive time).
What can I do besides queing in and playing bad until I play good? That probably won't feel good for the rest of the party.
