When I started playing back in '14 the housing wards were vibrant and social. Now, and especially in the newer servers, it's primarily rmt traders milking submarine voyages. They don't even bother to hide it; whole wards on Materia can have almost every house named "bothouse1", "bothouse2", etc, etc.
Squeenix has been loathe to address it because they, like I, remember how it used to be and still is on the old servers. The prestige and community feel they built still tints their glasses rose, despite it being far from true in a lot of cases anymore.
I'm not saying anything new, I know. Just trying to get more developer eyes on the problem by quantity of complaints.
Please move the workshop instances out of FC housing, and into the GC buildings or Foundation/Kugane equivalent. Then the botters can continue to have their fun in a way that doesn't look a hell of a lot like griefing, and we can have our housing communities back.
