 | My ex husband suddenly passed away earlier this month from a health condition he's been fighting for years. We stayed very close friends after the split and his FF XIV account is tied to my old email address. XIV was a huge passion and hobby we shared together. Racing each other to clear content, guessing what twists the upcoming patches would bring us, and just general deep love for the game. I'm still processing his passing and received the final email this his housing demo timer has rolled around. Infact, it's set for Sunday, the day after his celebration of life is being held. It feels fitting but I'm still struggling knowing his home is being quietly deleted and his mark on the game goes with it. He was beyond excited for Evercold, new game mechanics, and so much more. I've found myself spending more time in his XIV home and now it's slipping away. I wish there was a memorial system in place for our late Warriors of Light. In my own small way, I at least made a walk through of his home to share. Please feel free to visit it before Sunday to see his small slice of The Source.
