personally think they need to decrease entry/results period, it takes over a week to do one bidding cycle. It's not really valuing anyone's time, and honestly housing feels gatekept which sucks as there is alot of cool items which seem to get displayed every patch but actually getting a house in this game let alone a fc other then a small is often a time sink of its own and not even fun in the slightest.
larges can be bought by a single player and theres like two larges in every district not to mention the amount of one person fc's on crystal with properties just gil farming. in new gardenia crystal theres literally a person who owns five houses in the same district.
there's lots of things I love about ffxiv and hope one day A Nocturne for Heroes returns, but like there's a lot of content drought for new players wanting to feel involved as they prog through the game, it will be months until we here anything so unfortunately this issue of entry/results will probly not even be on the radar even though it's by far one of the worst aspects of the game, to bid on a house with a 100 plus other people doing the same and then have to wait a whole real world week to redo the process which is very very saddening. I've read the saying well its to give people time thats why the results is so long which is such a wild take on that, if a person bids they can come on and claim in a 24 hour process the multiple days is waaay to much
