My dad is like that lol. We went to Vietnam and he just haaad to stay in a 5 star hotel where he had access to American sports channels and american style breakfast lunch and dinner. Then he'd call people from his hotel room and say "I'm in Vietnam!" and when we asked him if he wanted to go out and get something to eat he'd say "And pass up 5-star hotel food?! yea right"

I agree though, full Silvia conversion FTW, R34 GT-R is honestly and truly my 'dream car', but a Silvia is just as god damned beautiful (S-15, in my opinion) and a hell of a lot easier to get. And seemingly a lot more fun to drive, too, RWD drift ftw.

I'll probably closely mimic what he is doing. I don't particularly like that turbo though, I'll probably go with one of the GT2871R turbos, build the head, 264 cams from tomei, bigger injectors, etc. Anywho, doing it myself, I figure it'll probably be a 1-2 year job but it'll be a clean build and more intrinsically satisfying than paying some shop gobs of money to do it. I really want a black top sr20 but i'll settle for a red top if the price is right. Most of the stuff will probably be junk yard parts, as there are a few threads detailing how to install big brakes from 300zxs and infiniti j30s, as well as axles, driveshafts, lug conversions, and all that good stuff.

s14 and s15 are gorgeous, but i'm thinking more along the lines of budget. Ideally I'd go for a 96-98 240, but it's hard to find one in good condition for under $4000. Whereas you could get a functional s13 plus engine for that price. Drive the ka beater while you build your engine and collect the various powertrain, suspension, engine control, and interior components. By the time you're done, you can save up to buy another beater and start stripping the s13, cleaning the body, all that wonderful work. I;m just trying to keep the budget under 10 thousand, which is why i mentioned using parts from junked 300zx's and J30s and whatnot. I can't help but grin when I think of a 13 thousand dollar evo/sti killer.
 
also, aqua aang or pussenboots, if you happen to find a kickass body kit, a tricked out supercharged engine and some crazy 12in spinnaz for a 92 powder blue ford escort with a sports package, send it to me. I tried getting some extra HP out of it with Honda Power stickers, but now I cant see out my front windshield.

I think you can get some more power if you drive it off a cliff. Should atleast trade it in for a Pinto. Actually going to the local chopper shop this weekend. Since I sold my Big Dog before I left, might look into getting another bike for while I am here to play with.

Who gives a shit about the scenery. I want to see those fucking people that make martini's in their assholes and let you drink them out with a straw. Then the pretty girls who get paid to kick you in the nuts, i want to see THAT stuff puss.
