 | Going into last week's patch, I was just going to try out BST, level it and shelve it. I don't really like roguelikes and got really tired of them after so many hours of Slay the Spire and Hades. I'm really surprised I like Crucible as much as I did. I spent most of yesterday doing trial runs of the second master board for legendary. I came really close about 6-7 hours in, only to not get into the safe spot in time for Gyrocleave - I was like a fraction of a second too late. That didn't deter me though, I went again and hit 20K points to get Legendary. Taking a break for now, but I'm thinking about completing the degree stages. The hardest boss for me was definitely the Mindflayer boss on the 2nd master board. I probably spent close to 90 minutes just fighting it over and over. There was just so much crap to keep track of. As soon as I mastered one thing (water puddles) I had to master another (Cross AOE after tank buster). I just kept getting caught in stuff and it wasn't clicking until... I just wrote down all the boss mechanics on a doc and kept them up on a second screen. I went over my notes when getting to the boss as a refresher. As soon as I did that, I hit legendary within ~2 hours. Some things I referenced in real time (IYKYK) :
I also made a lot of notes of when to release my 1st/2nd beast as that is crucial for a lot of bosses on the master boards. 1 mistimed release and your legendary run could be over.
