So i know dps resses are a controversial topic, but hear me out.
Machinist has the reputation of being the suboptimal choice in raids (however true or not it may be). People tend to want the rphys role to be a 'support dps', giving utility and boost the damage output of the party, which mch does not do better than the other 2 jobs. The only unique thing is wrench, but dancer for example has curing waltz as counterpart.
So how about giving machinist a 'defibrylator' skill, which would be a melee range ressurection.
It fits the job's fantasy, tinkering with all things electricity and tech.
Of course it would need downsides to balance it out and keep healers as primery ressers.
I was thinking of either very long cooldown, or making it cost a bit of battery gauge.
Id also put it up to consideration if it should be a gcd or ogcd.
