I have enjoyed the Final Fantasy 14 game for many years. Thank you for such great work.
I have a suggestion that I hope you’ll consider.
I would like to see a Free Company NPC Event Coordinator. This would allow FCs to schedule events and have FC members sign up. The idea I’m proposing will help FC communities, as most of us want to do things with other FC members but really don’t have a way of communicating it with each other or keeping track of who wants to participate.
The first menu would be: Schedule event. Cancel Event.
The second menu would be where the details could be entered by the FC members. Description, Event date, Event time, and Host/Participant One, would be filled out by the person scheduling the event. This would ‘lock’ so that the host is the only one that could ‘edit’ the event. Participants would be ‘fields’ that would be filled by FC members that would want to join the event.
Purpose:
Allow FC members to schedule events (maps, raids, glam contests, treasure nights).
Members can interact with the NPC to “sign up,” “confirm attendance,” or “view upcoming events.”
NPC display timers, participation lists, and event descriptions.
Integration with the Company Board.
Why:
Reduces reliance on external tools for FC coordination.
Helps to improve organizing FC events.
Makes FC houses more functional and helps to build a community.
Gives members a clear place to see what the FC is doing.
Optional:
Customizable NPC appearance (similar to Squadron NPCs).
Permissions tied to FC ranks.
Summary:
A dedicated FC Event NPC would strengthen community engagement, improve organization, and make FC housing more meaningful.
