Fix housing and over population in one go

While reading this post, please remember that there are somewhere around half a million homes available across all servers and all data centers, and there are, according to Square Enix, somewhere around a few million people playing this game. So, to all fellow homeowners, we are the minority.

People complain that they don’t want to get rid of the ward system, and other people want instance-based housing. There's a way that we can have both and use the new system to fix overpopulation. The way this would work is we abolish private player housing. Individual players should no longer own homes. Instead, the ward system should be used for FC houses only. All private housing should be replaced with an instance-based housing system similar to the way the Island Sanctuary works. This system, since it is instance-based, would be much easier to implement than simply adding more housing and less taxing on server space. It would also no longer be subject to the demolition system. Therefore, players that find themselves inactive for any amount of time don't have to worry about coming back and seeing all of their hard work taken away from them to make room for somebody else. Instance-based housing would allow for other features, like starting off with a small house and upgrading to larger houses, to medium and then large—so every player can get what they earn. Not only that, but with instance-based housing, you could have a much larger outdoor area that is decoratable just like in Island Sanctuary. And it doesn't even have to be that large. It only has to be about half the size of the Hideaway area in the Island Sanctuary for the largest size plots. This Instance-based private housing system could, in the future, also allow players to possibly get housing in areas that are not currently available as wards, such as the countryside of Lakeland or the metropolitan area of Solution Nine. Because to be honest, all they have to do to make houses be in different areas is throw on the new skybox and apply the area-relevant textures.
In the implementation of this system. All players that privately own homes should be given a full refund for the Gil cost of their house and all of their furniture placed in the reclamation system so that they don't actually lose anything. And then they can use the Gil that they are refunded to put towards their new instance-based house. So, they can basically start off right where they left off, or better, when it comes to housing.
