Not a year of continous play, but a year in total time passed since starting. Had an on and off start to the game along with life things that kept getting in the way and really excited to finally hit this milestone. Also excited to get started on the second half and gradually get through the expansions - I imagine the story is only up from here and i'm now super invested.
I won't be sharing any spoilers but I've attached some photos of the journey that could potentially spoil something? So look at your own risk.
I agree with the sentiment that ARR can take a lot to get started but honestly it wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I really enjoyed getting to know the world and the characters. I'd love to get other opinions on it too.
