So I've been having a weird problem lately. I've been able to run XIV at 100+ fps at 4k with no problems for weeks, but recently the game will cause my PC to chug really badly. What's weird is that it goes away when I set the cap to 60 fps, and it'll go away after a bit and I can play smoothly again
I've done some testing, and I'm sure it's not a hardware issue. I've ran a benchmark and my PC is fine, and from what I've seen, my ram, gpu, and cpu are all fine and not overheating. It also only seems like XIV is causing this problem
I know it's a longshot, and it's a very confusing problem to have, but does anybody have any ideas what it might be?
