From someone who’s strictly played very mainstream games like sports and shooting games, I started playing this game in March this year and I’m in love. From the story to the community and everything in between. I was so shocked by how wholesome (overwhelming majority) this community is. People are very patient and encouraging which was such a shock for me considering where I came from.
I’ve never really been interested in “mmorpg” style games however my friends convinced me to give it a try. Fast forward a couple months and I’m still playing the game very frequently. I’m particularly a fan of the glamour system and the job/role system while being able to switch seamlessly. I’ve got about 12 different jobs with my favourite rn being Reaper (former Samurai main).
I am just starting the endwalker expansion and I must say aside from the slow pacing of ARR I’ve been impressed with the main story. I love the main antagonist of this expansion and of course Emet Selch as well. I could go on and on about the characters in this game and how addicting the main story is.
This community should be proud of the standards they hold and how they treat each other.
