I've been facing constant errors and crashes while trying to load into FFXIV, specifically in Limsa Lominsa.
I usually kept my character in my FC home in The Empyreum, so I don't know how or when this crashing could've started. I suspect it started after Patch 7.5. I tried teleporting to the Azim Steppes and the crashing started. Every time I reset the game and tried to load in, it crashes. I try to change my character's home world to default to Limsa Lominsa, and it still crashes.
I've tried logging into different home worlds, lowering graphics, playing on Windowed Mode or Fullscreen, etc. It's only on my main character who's stuck in Limsa Lominsa. Logging onto another character, like one that's in the Mist, loads in fine and I'm able to move around and such.
My error message reads as follows:
An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting FINAL FANTASY XIV.
