It’s so corny, but I have > 500 hours now and getting to the end of SB. Every time I login I feel a sense of comfort wandering Gridania, watching everyone dick around in Limsa, flying around Coerthas Highlands. Checking in on my FC and get updates on what they’re working on. Random parties grinding FATEs, doing roulettes, hunting logs, sightseeing, GATEs at the Gold Saucer. Stopping to listen to the music. Looking at houses.
I’ve always loved Final Fantasy and think about the franchise at least once a day in one way or another. So being able to log in to an FF world feels like home. I love finding new places to explore, people to meet, glamour, mounts, minions, events, weapons. I mean damn I literally love all of it. I’m really grateful that I found XIV and hope it continues to feel like home for years to come.
