Hi all!
I think I'm still a relatively new player as this is my first MMORPG and I'm about to do the last quest in ARR (I think), currently I am a Paladin at LVL54 but am much more interested in the Gunbreaker and Machinist roles, which I can't access yet I think?. I'm worried about not being able to level them properly and I've seen a ton of different advice on the reddit about what a new player should focus on.
Currently I've pretty much been just doing the MSQ plus the job quests whenever a new one is available. I feel I have barely touched the surface on things I should be doing like roulettes. daily quests, the market, dungeons and raids etc. which is stuff I'm only just really finding out details about and haven't touched in game yet.
I guess I would just like some tips to point me in the right direction as I'm really enjoying the game so far and can see myself continuing to play for a long time and don't want to make any mistakes I'll regret in the future. Thanks! (also I'm on the Materia data center)
