[Feedback] Disappointed with Phantom Freelancer "Adaptable"

In Final Fantasy V, Freelancer was barely a job on itself, but once you start grinding for job masteries, Freelancer would slowly becoming stronger and stronger, until eventually, it becomes one of the two strongest jobs in the whole game, alongside Mimic.

When South Horn released, and I saw Phantom Freelancer there, with a whole bunch of nothing burger, I already assumed it would pay off later on North Horn, when you get something very broken (affectionate) as a reward for mastering every other phantom job. And as soon as patch 7.55 landed, I saw the potential on the level 24 trait, Adaptable.

My mind immediately went into thinking all the fun and practical stuff I could do with on-demand job swaps. How Forked Tower Blood could be much easier if you only need a few mastered players to cover all key roles needed, so that the rest of the alliance could focus purely on damage and mechanics. Or even be the ultimate support by cycling through jobs during combat to probide buffs, shields and healing on a massive scale, paired with Wisdom on the Winds to avoid the cooldown sharing feature in many skills across phantom jobs.

My disappointment was palpable when I learned that Adaptable only work when you are on Freelancer, and once you move to another job, your swap is done and gone.

Honestly speaking, Phantom Freelancer is not a phantom job you want to be fighting on. You are giving up on a lot of potential damage or utility for a global cooldown reset on a 2 minute timer, which, probably may have some uses on Evercold, but right now, all it do is misalign your burst window with the rest of the party.

Both Eureka and Bozja have some very bonker rewards if you finish up all your grind there, and then just want to play more for fun. Elemental+2 armor and the Physeos "secret' relic final step makes you much stronger in Eureka. Maxing out medals in Bozja make you a walking weapon of mass destruction.

Please, reconsider the choice to make Adaptable a Freelancer thing. Make it a passive trait for the character that went through all the grind, and workable across all the jobs. Let us enjoy our reward for doing such a massive grind.
