Synopsis: An opt-in/toggle feature for when questing with a friend (whether it’s on MSQ or Side Quests from NPC) in which dialogues, cutscenes, objectives, and rewards Link (rhymes with: Sync) with your party members.

Purpose: To enrich simultaneous play between friends, new players, or veterans enjoying NG+ alongside sprouts.

Justification: The MSQ is long. It will continue to grow and continue to be a roadblock for many new players who join an MMO to play with friends. While the MSQ is naturally a solo experience, it doesn’t have to remain this way on a practical level—or at the gameplay/questing level.

He followed up with “Why not?” …And that’s a fair question.

I’d like to be in voice chat with him and watch the cutscenes with him completely synced. So we can gasp together, laugh together, and gush or gossip together about what’s on screen. I don’t want to worry about going too far ahead in the cutscene or lagging behind. It would really help solidify that we are doing this together the whole way through.
