SPOILERS FOR ENDWALKER

So I thought I had a good grasp on the story, and I own the three Eorzea Encyclopaedia’s. While reading through the third one, which pertains to the events of SHB and EW, there is a section about Venat’s choice that confused me.

It says that with her knowledge of future events from the WOL, she chose to sunder the star from two main purposes. One was to reduce mankind’s power of creation magics, as this was what they lost control of during the final days. The second reason was more puzzling. The book states that Venat chose to sunder the world, knowing mankind’s atheric density would be lowered, thus making them more sensitive to Dynamis. It says she did this hoping they would arise as powerful warriors to fight the Endsinger. This makes no sense to me. Venat knew Metion/Endsinger was a being of Dynamis. Making mankind more sensitive to Dynamis seems counter intuitive. Especially considering we know atheric density blocks out Dynamis, hence Zodiark bolstering the atheric signature of Ethirys.

Is there something I am missing here? Or, is this meant to be a flaw in Venat’s plan that is purposely there to show she wasn’t perfect?
