This is an old suggestions from these forums and I don't know who came up with it first (feel free to take credit), I think it deserves its own thread for visibility:
Change Enhanced Unmend so that it grants you a short duration buff / hidden effect that turns Shadowstride to Plunge for a single cast.
This would make it a viable combo for a single-GCD dips out of melee, bring the Plunge animation back for folks that miss it, while keeping the (IMHO healthy) approach of not spamming gap closer for dps in burst.
