At first I thought the guy was just another villain when he showed up infront of Varis, but he is surprisingly kind for an Ascian, Lahabrea and Elidibus could never. He shows himself to us, knowing we have white auracite and could potentially kill him if we wished, he also bothers to pull Y’shtola from the life stream when it doesn’t benefit him in the slightest and infact it’d be beneficial to the Ascians if the scions are deprived of one of their best minds.
I feel like there is a lot more to the guy I haven’t yet seen, he is surprisingly empathetic, he saw through Thancred easily.
