So idk if this has been brought up yet, but playing through the msq got me thinking. Yoshi wore the shirt with Rhitahtyn, a tank with 2 shields, which many are speculating to be a dual shield tank or some other Garlean themed tank. And then in 7.5 we saw Zero, a tank, wielding the light and switching to dark and then back again.
So what if we saw the new tank in Zero? A tank that wields both light and dark in a ying/yan sort of way? So, instead of dual wielding 2 literal shields the new tank wields 2 aspects dark/light as metaphoric shields with the ability to switch between them for different reasons. Or maybe they will have 2 literal shields representing both aspects they are using.
It is a new concept exclusive to XIV as far as I remember. I mean we have had tanks like Cecil who went from dark to light but none that I can remember that do their thing with both.
