Tldr: I started my ff journey on Crystal and spent a metric ton of time on that character. But I made a new character on Aether to "relive" the experience. Now I genuinely prefer the time I've spent on Aether so I'd like to bring my main character here. But once again Aether has been locked. I don't really mind using my new character, but there's just so much side content and event glamour that I'd lose. Granted I could always redo side content but some of that is dreadful. Alexanders pretty fun tho. Oh and I have "brought" my main over using DC travel but I wanted something more permanent.
So my question is, do I need to wait until they reopen the data center to transfer my character or is there a way to swap my characters in like a 1 for 1 trade?
