Greetings!
Last night, I did a very bad job as tank and probably got the treatment I deserved for it. I am a sprout and it was my first time playing through. I usually do great as a tank (facing the enemy away from others, keeping aggro, covering healers when they are low, etc). However, the mechanics of this dungeon were SO confusing, I didn’t realize until later that there was a main tank and I was not where I was supposed to be and likely was taking aggro from the tank that actually knew what they were doing.
Since last night, I have watched MTQcapture on youtube and read through https://latetothepartyfinder.com/ffxiv-labyrinth-of-the-ancients-guide/
Are these resources still current and relevant? Is there anything else I need to know? How do I know who is main tank? My current item level is 125. I am a lvl 59 paladin.
Thank you in advance! And to anyone who probably ran that dungeon last night with me, I’m very sorry. I was not griefing, just learning.
