Hi still playing the game. Stopped writing about it, more for substack reasons.
But.
I got the first bit of the ARR \o/ it was fantastic and am chugging through the next bit now. I can see what people meant about it but it's still enjoyable.
I've started building s little circle of people who help me which has been phenomenal and I've discovered Red Mage which is too much fun. Having more than two buttons to click (have been told off for clicking am trying to use the keyboard more, getting there!) Is better then I thought it would be.
But I decided to use the little natural break to try a few new things. Such as fishing/botany and a chef/alchemist because well those sounded fun.
Last few days I've spent more time poking around with those things than the story it's really really enjoyable. I just wanted to sing praise for those systems it's really well designed and easy to get into and already enjoying the ramping in complexity I mooched my first fish yesterday and I want to do more of it.
And yes. I was a bit sneaky and saw what's ahead with the fishing (nothing yet). I am going to catch The Egg. I've set a goal with that. (Aware there's more and those are also on my little list)
