I love most of FFXIV. But I don't care for the dungeons and raids at all. They are way too complicated for my taste, with too much light effects and too much boss mechanics. I am currently stuck with my Trust in Yuweyawata Field Station at the second boss when he casts Lost Hope. I am used to move around with my mouse, and when I try to do it with wasp, I get nowhere. So I keep wiping. Which is pretty unbearable at the best of times but even more so when you just try to get past a horrible storyline.
I hate Dawntrail. I loved everything before this expansion but oh my gosh, I can't stand this one. I have barely played FFXIV since it came out and now finally got the courage to work through it. All I want to do is get past the patches and cross my fingers that 8.0 is much better.
I really don't understand why we don't get an easy story mode for the dungeons and raids that lock the msq.So people who aren't in it for the dungeons and raids, can work through the story as well.
