Allow me to explain an English Literature concept.
Signifier vs. Signified
Signifier = how you convey a message (voice, text, motions, gestures, etc.)
Signified = how the person receives that information, what it means to them
Signifier is "We're introducing seasons"
Signified is "This sounds like mobile season passes"
When they don't align, the communication failed.
Calling it Seasons is a bad idea all around. You're trying to reinvent a word that's already tainted. You can't overcome the way something is signified. No matter how hard you try, a word that has a negative connotation will be received by every single person until they're fully corrected.
So I'm begging you development team, stop calling it Seasons. Call it Seasonal Content or something else, something that isn't tainted.
