Just providing my opinion.
Hitting the level cap and obtaining most of the beasts was fun, and I was happy to be back in early-game content zones. This was a good move, rather than throwing us at level 50+ to start.
The excitement wore off pretty quickly when I got into the Crucible. Realizing from this point on it was solo play really made me lose interest. I get you wanted to add a rogue-like system that is completely new, but fighting the same handful of battles over and over to level up my beast ranks in a solo environment isn't what I am on this game for. I want to play the game with others. I get it's a limited job class, and like Blue Mage, it's what is intended. I felt the same way about Blue, though, and Beastmaster feels even more restrictive than Blue Mage.
After hitting cap, this job will probably sit for months on end, untouched unless I get extremely bored and have nothing else better to do with other players.
I appreciate you adding the new job class and am glad to see others are enjoying it. Just wish it wasn't a limited class and had the same level cap as the rest, was more focused on playing in the open world with others. There just isn't any reason to once you hit cap.
