| Hello fellow adventurers, I have lurked and read many, played plenty and wished for more. While the story is secondary to me, I always believed the meat and reason people play games primarily is the content. The gameplay, the feel, ect. The story pulls you in but the gameplay is what keeps us here till the next big thing. While playing I had many ideas that I would wish to see, and even would want an entire patch purely to clean up, add life too, and revive the game (I know that's the point of 8.0 but still, I am sure they're gonna add a story, more content, ect). But here I ask, what is the point of the content if in the next patch it's already stale? what is the point of beautiful locations and villas if we visit it once and then rarely return? Once populated areas are now scarce. So below are some ideas I'd love to see that could maybe add some much needed rejuvenation to all content: ° Boon of the Crystal: Dungeons, Raids, ect. Can be a slog on the daily, same old rotations, nothing to chew on. it's the bag of chips of the daily tome grind. So why not spice it up a bit, my supposed idea is to add a "Boon" system. At lv 60 there's a quest to unblock the boon of the Crystal for all previous content. These boons include: ∆ You gain skills from 10 Lvs ahead of the dungeon/ content. ∆ Chests can be chosen to give at level gear OR a boon (Increased damage/ Battle mechanic changes (Such as Fire 4 now does AoE damage), and the chance for Crystalized Items (dungeon gear that have two dye channels) ∆ I would also imagine that it works like a skill tree or the sphere grid where you could nab stronger effects, maybe your own personal limit breaks that pulls some abilities from pvp ect. ∆ And from the DF maybe have a toggle for a Curse of the Void to increase the chances for stronger boons, unique gear, ect. and the cursed increase dbe damage, have crazy effects (Like they explode, or on hit: they inflict charm, or other effects that could be at least interesting on multiple play throughs) ∆ This would wantingly be trials, normal raids (extremes, savages as well) for maybe more rewards, special raid gear that adds they're own special effects (Suzi-Q.extreme for example grants an auto-raise with no weakness) and this gear is always scaled 10 levels below cap. also just some minor changes that would be nice, beyond the bigger idea would be: × Allow for us to level alts in the same way we use trusts. NPC controlled gaining 40% of the overall EXP, and given dungeon gear. x Hangouts: Small player created zones in towns that are pre-decorated, with or without NPCs. x Unlock all the ranks for Grand Companies x BETTER REWARDS: Stance / Animations variants, VFX recolors, expanded/ burrowed idle stances but that's just some, the picture is for attention.
