Well last run didn't go as anticipated, though people put in a good effort. I believe that we made some mistakes in all three zones, however, and feel that we had the correct setups for the most part to win all three.

NW: I talked to Heie about what went wrong, and it seems that either the Faf fight needs to be sped up, or needs to be skipped. A bad wipe at the end of the run killed their time remaining, but that's avoidable and not a deal-breaker if the first point is addressed.

NE: Honestly, there's no excuse for us losing, literally. We had a wipe at the portal, and the mobs unexpectedly did not reset. We didn't realize why (they were glitching and aggroing the people on the next floor) until we had already used our RR. I don't think anything needs to be changed for this zone.

SW: Miscommunications and a bad wipe at the start caused the problems here. One thing to make sure of on ALL runs: make sure someone with reraise on is the last person up the vortex/portal. Never leave someone without RR when going up a floor, cause you can't get back to raise em if they die. I also feel like this zone could benefit from a seventh man moreso than NE, so I will probly move one person over to this area.

All-in-all, people did well, and I'm starting to see more people pop up as leaders. This is probably the most important variable for split-runs to be successful... I can handle the zone I'm in, but I need other people to know what to do in the other zones so they can manage on their own. We'll try all three again on Thurs assuming we have similar numbers!

I just dont think 2 blms can kill two NM's. I guess if we didn't farm at all we might ( i stress might) have been able to do it. Benny and I couldn't do it last time. We skipped faf before and if we are only going to send in 2 blm's each time we should continue to skip it.

Well Heie had come up with an interesting idea of CS+Bind Faf while the BLMs each Manafont right at pull and nuke it down ASAP, then pop restore chest and work on the rest. I don't know if Faf would resist Bind or if that still cuts the run too short on time, but it was interesting nonetheless.

It also didn't help that Faf one-shotted me with breath around 50%. ;_;

My gravity and binds never got resisted once by any mob in the zone. So if we just do what we did at the end at the start we could kill faf in 5 minutes rather then 30 lol. As for faf was able to keep bind and gravity on it the whole time as long as recast allowed. Would only do faf again if we had about the same time. That was the first time I had successfully taken him with just 3 people.

If the object is clearing above all else then skipping Faf is the best option.

A lot of strats may work but they put the overall run at risk if they fall through.

eh. It wasn't just because of faf that we lost. There were other reason also. Its just if we skipped him we could have wiped like 4 times over and still had time.
