Putting this here for people to reference later but I wanted to lay out the cost for FFXIV Fanfest in Anaheim 2026. Everything that was split was split between four people.
So yeah expect to spend like $1000-$1200 which I believe is similar to what people were recommending for FanFest in Vegas. Hope this helps anyone in the future and see you next FanFest!

- Ticket: $264.99
- Hotel: $1045.02
- Split between four people for three nights
- $883.56 for the room, got the reservation through my job, additional fees per night for an extra rollout bed and parking
- We were across the street from the con
- Plane Ticket: $325.60
- Cheapest options w/ checked luggage I could find 5 weeks out and returning home at a reasonable time (flew in Thursday morning and left Sunday morning from LGB)
- Car: ~$228
- Split between four people
- Rented an EV which was around $208 and then charging was around an extra $20
- If you're only going to and from the airport to the hotel, rideshare will probably be cheaper, however even going to a few other places it would end up being more expensive. We went to LA on Thursday right after we flew in so we probably saved money compared to just using an Uber or something.
- Food: ~$100-$150
- Hotel had complimentary breakfast, lowkey could've spent less but I spent like $55 at this awesome Palestinian Falafel place cause I got stuff for the table and I spent another $22 at Jollibee for obvious reasons
- Merch: $64.64
- I only bought one hoodie because we got the second to last merch reserrvation slot and everything was sold out
So yeah expect to spend like $1000-$1200 which I believe is similar to what people were recommending for FanFest in Vegas. Hope this helps anyone in the future and see you next FanFest!
