After the release of same-region player matching in the Japan Region it was found that Eureka was not exempt from the greater Duty Finder changes. While this is a good thing for pretty much every other instance in the game, it is a bit of a problem for Eureka Hydatos or more specifically The Baldesion Arsenal (from this point on referred to as BA). Right now on the NA Region there are dedicated BA groups for each of the existing Data Centers. Ignoring the difference between how each of these groups operate, the biggest issue by far is the fact many runs have a tendency to overlap. For instance Aether almost always has a run around 8-9pm EDT while Crystal might have a run at the exact same time. It is not unlikely for both of those runs to have the full 48 people joining. What this effectively means is a time slot which could previously have 4 runs across all 4 NA DCs supporting 192 possible players can now only have 1 run supporting a maximum of 48 people before counting the support FATE.
Luckily the solution to this problem already exists in the game today but is just not enabled for Eureka! Occult Crescent allows for an alliance to queue and if said alliance has 24+ people it will create a new instance that is locked until the players in instance get into Forked Tower. If that approach is too hard to implement there is yet another approach found with Forked Tower Magic Extreme which is its own separate private instance entirely that is effectively a duplication of the normal North Horn instance.
I do understand it's rare for the devs to go back and actually adjust content over an expansion old but I do really hope they are willing to do so since BA is such a unique case.
