Can this be sponsored by those of us looking to upgrade AF items? Better off paying for this then buying the currency outright. At least it stops other people from paying
 
I don't see why not. You are not likely to get many coins so it would be a gamble, but if people are interested they can /random for sponsor of CoP runs before we enter.

If you're talking about a normal "pay the entry fee and get up to 300 currency" sponsorship, that sounds reasonable (though odd since very little currency drops). If you're talking "pay the entry fee and get priority on upgrade AF items," I'd be against it.
 
It's a luck based thing, the boss can drop 100 Piece currencies. If a single 100 piece drops - I make my money back. I'm really gathering pieces for AF upgrades, which I will have no priority over. The idea is ... "pay for everyone, upgrade some pieces and maybe make a buck or two" or "buy overpriced currency from people I don't even know." No one wants to sponsor CoP, so, here I am. Chances are I'll walk out about 300k poorer for my trouble, but at least I'll be able to upgrade my Wyrm Armor!
