I play on PS5 and use a standard DualSense controller. I use the WXHB function for my cross hotbar (double tap L2 or R2 to bring up an additional hotbar for quick action access. For some reason now whenever I access that hotbar using that function and select an action that pops up a new window, immediately after releasing my trigger the cross hotbar pops to the foreground over the menu. This just started happening a couple of hours ago. I've played with this setting for years and have never had this problem. Typically the cross hotbar wouldn't jump to the foreground unless you hit the trigger again, but as I said it jumps to the foreground as soon as I release the trigger after selecting an action.
This only happens when accessing the WXHB hotbar. When I open the same action on the main cross hotbar, then it remains in the background as designed after releasing the trigger, and as my WXHB used to function.
I've reset all game settings to default, and even went so far as to delete all my game files, uninstall, and reinstall the game. It still persists.
