Why Isn't There A "switch Class And Join Duty" Button?

It happens so often when I'm leveling an alt class they the duty finder. I'll be doing the MSQ or class quests, get stuck inside a cutscene and then be penalized for "abandoning the duty".

Is there a reason why SE does this? I searched it up and people have been complaining about this since 2016
