I usually pick a support/healer in any game I play, but in FFXIV it seems very scary.. so I've always just avoided playing one, cause I do not want to be a hindrance to others. For me the scary part seems to be when someone just pulls entire instance or how some bosses seem to require very precise positioning... which for me with short term memory and how my brain gets easily overloaded can be quite the challenge.
Despite all of this... I still kind of want to try to get into healing, but not sure how to go about it without being flamed and getting cursed on? Do I just do those daily roulettes like alliance or something and just try to practice it?
I'm sort of reactive type of person so I think healer like Scholar that requires predicting is not for me. In other mmos like WoW I used to play and main Restoration Shaman if that helps a bit.
