im not talkin about stuff like your team always loses 4v2s when you are deep diving running from pot to pot to give space, ive come to terms with everyone maining a ranged dps just to hide behind walls and not actually shoot anyone. you see forums full of people talking about "hey i just recovered from a stroke and i just downloaded ff14 to kill time" or "i have one arm" and "im medically blind" etc. theres forums full of people that are straight up handicapped saying they came to ff14 and not other games because of it and im almost sure their favourite past time in-game is playing ff14 pvp ranged classes.
what im talking about are the bots squaresoft put themselves. not player controlled bots afk farming currency from the token shops, im talkin genuine decepticons. the people you watch go on a lose streak against you all night but somehow rank up and keep filling games at 2am with you even though you beat them half a dozen times already. the teams that just shut down and stop doing inputs when you do a giant CC ult on the objective at overtime. ive played plenty of overwatch and rivals, ive recorded and rewatched a lotttt of gameplay from the bots perspective and they always do the same thing at overtime to simulate an exciting match. they are either full throttle unkillable war machines that sit at 1 hp and face tank entire clips with hit registry, or they unplug the keyboard and stand there shooting the floor. too many times, im talking dozens in a row, i have done something like a dancer ultimate full 4 second stunlock on the entire enemy team in OT, my team wont even dent a single hp bar while im stuck in my animations, and then they somehow just drop dead from full hp. every time. thats exactly what the JimTua KimZar JoFim or Artemis Perceus Demonlord bots do in rivals and overwatch. ive watched an enemy ironman bot point their ultimate team instakill attack right at my face full aimbot tracking then the last nanosecond they shoot the wall across the map so we would win the bot round.
so pvp is rigged like every other game, big surprise right? and no im not interested in some squaresoft apologist making up some bs about how pvp cant be rigged because the same people get top rank every season. go to zalera and coeurl server at midnight, you will see their entire FC queue together at the same time as the same class so they will be on opposing teams to wintrade. congrats to everyone else that got to their desired rank 5 games after the soft reset each season where you got a winstreak with a bunch of ultimas against platinums and golds. id love to know how much money you spent on cosmetics in the cash shop.
